I received an army green color dress in size large. It fit so nicely! I usually wear a medium (I’m 5 feet and about 135 lbs…a little curvy). However, if you want this dress to be really form fitting, you can get a smaller size. I like the larger size on me since I do not like anything too tight fitting. Although I am short and clothing can be longer on me, I think this dress was a perfect length (about an inch below my knee). And it is very comfortable too. Very soft to the touch and it feels good on your skin.
It is a great dress to dress up or dress down: sandals, wedges, heels…whatever you feel like wearing with it! It is fully lined (polyester lining) so it appears to not be sheer and has some ‘weight’ to the fabric. It also has a scallop detail at the bottom of the hemline, with ruching on both sides of the dress. This makes the fit even better. The dress has a tank style upper top (simple style). Really was surprised to see that the bodice had enough material to accommodate larger chests (36 DD) which isn’t common with dresses that have that ruched material at all. I think if you had a nude bra you could get away with wearing the dress with a bra as long as you made the ruffle sit on the straps- but the dress also looks lovely if you let the straps rest below your shoulders.
Unfortunately I am returning this because the dress cut at the waste is precisely at a point that isn’t as flattering for my stomach compared to another dress I ordered. If I ever get pregnant I would absolutely pick this dress up because it will accommodate and accentuate a baby belly perfectly while still having enough room in the chest!” – Raizel
